A rosé wine, made from a combination of two traditional grape varieties: Garnacha and Cariñena.40 years have passed since we first made this wine with its own unique personality. It was Miguel Torres Carbó who, striving to make a strongly coloured rosé with fruity aromas, experimented with the Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena grape varietals, achieving a rosé that stood out from the rest and has continued to do so down through the years. This wine is characterised by its freshness and notes of red berries (red currant) accompanied by notes of apple and banana. On the palate it's very balanced and lush, with a long, persistent aftertaste.

It is more than three decades since this mysterious Spanish wine was born. The label: Black. The bottle: Burgundy style. The variety: Cabernet Sauvignon. Few had much faith in this project. Certainly,nobody back in 1979, could have dreamed that it would triumph in a Parisian blind tasting against some of the world's most famous wines. Yet it marked the start of a new era in wine making: a time in which to stop dreaming and embark on a new journey, year after year, harvest after harvest. In this small (29 ha.) vineyard only the most select Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown. These are used to make strictly limited quantities of Torres' most prestigious red wine, now known to connoisseurs all over the world. In the Paris Wine Olympiad, the 1970 vintage triumphed over some of the most famouswines in the world, including Chateau Latour. This success has been repeated on several other occasions, with Gran Coronas Mas La Plana notching up numerous other international awards. Intense aroma showing all the classic characteristics of the native land of Mas La Plana, together with notes of truffle, toast and wild red berry conserve. Great body and breadth on the palate, with juicy tannins that become balanced and elegant.
This wine's noble and healthy tannins will complement the best meat and game dishes. Serve at 17 - 18
The coolest parts of the Penedès are most suitable for growing the noble and elegant red variety Pinot Noir. One location that stands out is at our historic single vineyard of Mas Borrás, giving its name to this exceptional, distinct wine, awarded by the International Jury at the Wine Olympiad in Paris in 1985.This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Upper Penedès (Santa María de Miralles) region at an altitude of 520 metres above sea level, where the cold summer nights ensure the balanced ripening of these delicate grapes. Mas Borràs is currently one of the few Spanish grown Pinot Noir wines. An intense wine that largely expresses the varietal of Pinot Noir, defined by red fruits such as cherry and cassis and complemented with touches of leather and toast. The top palate is very lush, incredibly fresh with silky tannins. Fruity notes reappear, together with royal jelly to combine with notes of toast. It's a wine with a lingering finish.
An excellent accompaniment for roast meats, cooked hams and creamy cheeses. Serve at 16-18
Een diep donkerrode wijn die geurt naar rijp fruit, bloesem en zoete specerijen. De verleidelijke aroma's van de neus komen in de smaak terug. Smeuïge pruimen, kruiden, mineralen,wat tabak en iets chocola in de lange, pittige afdronk geven deze krachtige, zachte wijn complexiteit. Garnacha, syrah, cariñena en cabernet sauvignon van twee specifieke, leisteenrijke wijngaarden vormen zijn basis. Salmos betekent psalm en verwijst naar de monniken die hier druiven plantten.

De wijn heeft een intense kleur van bramen,een krachtig, kruidig aroma met hinten van zoethout en zwarte pepers. De smaak is fruitig met rijpe tannine, de afdronk lang en krachtig. Het is een elegante, goed gestructureerde wijn, weelderig, boordevolfruit (bramen en kersen).

Donkerrode wijn geassembleerd uit 85% Cabernet Sauvignon en 15 % Tempranillo. Aroma's van rijpe kersen met bosbessen, evenals meer complexere smaken (vanille en ledertoetsen) afkomstig door rijping op Franse eik gedurende 12 maanden. Dit is een top-wijn gemaakt door de legendarische wijnfamilie Miguel Torres.
